How Clean Books Report makes money
Some vendors pay us to be included on Clean Books Report. That payment never affects the rankings or the review itself.
What vendors pay for
Vendors can pay to be listed, to have a written review page or to be mentioned on a page that fits their product. A paid listing carries the label Paid listing, and a paid mention carries the label Sponsored. What vendors can pay for is set out with rates available by email.
What payment never buys
- A higher rank or a changed score
- A different criterion, weight or evidence rule
- The removal of a low criterion score or an evidence link
- A rewritten verdict
Vendor links carry the nofollow attribute, and paid mentions add sponsored. How a tool earns its score is the same for a paying vendor and a vendor that has never been in touch.
